Henish Pulickal is the CEO of the California Home Company (CalHomeCo) and has successfully branded himself as the "go to" for anything relating to backyard homes, ADU's, granny flats and anything of the like. Since 2002, Henish has worked full time in multiple roles within the real estate industry. His career background includes underwriting, sales, servicing, management and consulting for some of the largest banks in the US. Henish became a licensed real estate agent in 2009 and a broker in 2017. Over his career, Henish has done over $1 billion in real estate transactions and mortgages.
Henish has been honored to be a speaker/panelist at many conferences and seminars including the Real Estate Owners and Managers Association (REOMAC), North San Diego Real Estate Investors Association (NSDREI), Elite REO Network (ERN), Information Management Network (IMN), PSAR (Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors), NAHREP, Rotary International, and many more. He has also co-hosted The Common Sense Radio Show on ESPN 1700 and has been a guest on The American Dream TV show, and several other media productions.
Henish has earned a BA in Economics and Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University. Since 2014 Henish has served as a board member of the Pacific Beach Planning Group in San Diego. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing competitive beach volleyball and basketball. In fact, Henish's favorite thing about San Diego is the ability to play beach volleyball up to 355 days a year! He lives close to the beach and he loves the coastal climate. He also lives in a the very walkable community of Pacific Beach, where he can park his car and only walk or bike to everything he and his family wants to do. A fun fact about Henish is that he has traveled to about 30 countries and he loves to scuba dive.
His favorite wine is malbec and red blends.
